Sixth-grade students Giedrius and Ludwig, and the seller of socks Alex Ankle suddenly find out a secret that the world of the humans is in great danger. Threatening creatures sugromulis, who feed off of people’s nightmares, and their master Tatum want to take over people’s dreams and make everyone, including the big ones and the little ones, their slaves. To prevent this, the main characters begin their journey in Knookyland ‒ a country, which they had never even heard of before…

I always wanted to write a book, in which mysterious things would take place, which would have horror elements, and in which the main events would be based on true stories. Well, there is only one true event in this book. I have no doubts that we all have experienced a mysterious disappearance of socks from a laundry machine after washing… So, after all, where do they go?
